Graceworks Myanmar is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct, which provides standards on management, public communication and financial accountability.

GraceWorks Myanmar is a Christian based not-for-profit organisation that was first established in 2005 by Chairman, Peter Simmons. GraceWorks now has over 500 passionate and committed supporters around Australia, New Zealand, England, and Myanmar.

What sets GraceWorks apart from other aid organisations is their focus on assisting groups and communities rather than individual children or families. Their objective is to help as many people as possible while keeping administration costs to a minimum

RESCUE 80 APPEAL
On May 2nd 2008 the 8th deadliest cyclone of all time tore through the southern region of Myanmar known as the Delta Region. The death toll from Cyclone Nargis is now estimated at approximately one million.

Together with the “Children of the Storm” we have taken another 40 children from the war zone on the Thai border. These children are known as “War Orphans”. The decision to accept these children was extremely difficult due to the lack of resources our orphanage operates under.

The responsibility of another 80 children carries with it the following four essential welfare elements: medical, education, clothing and food.
